What is the Daniels' Symposium?

Following a landmark Supreme Court decision the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples is thrilled to host the Daniels Symposium meant to spark the dialogue between grassroots Indigenous Peoples, stakeholders, and the Canadian Government. The event will be held on March 21st – 22nd, 2017 on traditional unceded Algonquin territory in Ottawa Ontario (with four satellite locations in Winnipeg, Montreal, Corner Brook, and Edmonton. Participants will have the unique opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns with policy makers, legal scholars, and politicians to help define what the ruling means, its ramifications, and future impacts.
