New National Chief elected at AGA

Congress of Aboriginal Peoples National Chief Dwight Dorey was elected at the Annual General Assembly in 2015. National Chief Dorey is a Mi’kmaq from Nova Scotia who previously served in the same position with CAP from 2000 to 2006.

Mr. Dorey holds a Master of Arts degree and has extensive business experience, having established the ABCAN Affairs Group Inc., a federally incorporated Aboriginal relations consulting company. He is also co-author of two books, Legal Aspects of Aboriginal Business Development and Aboriginal Rights Litigation.
