Course Instructions & Tips

Please review the following instructions. They will help you navigate the course platform.

Lesson completion

You are free to view and access all of the course content in any order. 

To complete the course and receive a certificate you must click “Mark as Complete” at the top of every lesson page (including intro and instruction pages). Once a lesson is marked as complete, you will automatically move to the next page. Each complete lesson will have a green checkmark beside it.

Interactive Activities

There are interactive activities throughout the course. To view these activities in full screen, click on the arrows in the right corner of the activity. When complete, press “esc” to exit full screen.

Quizzes

There are three quizzes throughout the course. The full instructions are below.

  • Select “Start Quiz” to begin.
  • Quiz questions may have more than one correct answer. You will be given 1 point for each correct choice.
  • You must provide a response to each question.
  • Click “Submit & Next” to move to the next question.
  • You can click “Back” to return to the previous question.
  • Click “Submit Quiz” when you are finished. The quiz will automatically be marked as complete.
  • The summary page will list all of your quiz attempts. You can review your responses and the correct answers for each attempt by clicking “Details” on the right.
  • You can retry the quizzes as many times as you wish.

Certificate of Completion

After completing this toolkit, you will be able to download a Certificate of Completion.

To download your certificate:

  • Go to the main course page (if you were not automatically redirected when you complete the course).
  • Click “View Certificate”.
  • Choose how you would like to retrieve your certificate. There are 4 options you can choose by hovering over the icons on the right:
    1. Download – hover over the top icon and select pdf or jpg to begin the download
    2. Copy credential URL – clicking this will create and copy a link to come back to your certificate.
    3. Print now – to print a paper copy of your certificate.
    4. Share – hover over the bottom icon and select Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.
